Job summary

Flagship Facility Services, Inc. is seeking a Floor Technician to keep client facility floors clean, safe, and presentable. You will perform daily cleaning, operate floor care equipment, and respond to spills to prevent accidents.

This part-time on-site role offers a competitive hourly wage, benefits, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement through ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months experience as a floor technician or in janitorial services.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment, chemicals, and safety procedures.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Significant safety training completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of floors, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, buffing, and waxing.
• Operate and maintain floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, extractors, and burnishers.
• Respond promptly to spills and floor-related maintenance needs to ensure safety.
• Apply floor finishes and treatments according to procedures.
• Inspect areas to identify needed care or repairs.
• Dispose of waste and follow cleaning protocols.
• Assist with carpet cleaning, spot treatments, and stain removal as necessary.
• Follow safety procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment.
