Yamato Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a dependable Floor Technician to join our Environmental Services team. This part-time role (morning/evening shifts, flexible) offers hands-on floor care including stripping, sealing, waxing, buffing floors, equipment

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care environment
• Ability to work independently and follow schedules
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Ability to lift, move, and operate floor equipment as required

Responsibilities

• Follow daily assignments and schedules to clean, strip, seal, wax, and buff facility floors
• Properly maintain and care for all cleaning equipment
• Clean and water large indoor plants
• Keep outdoor grounds free of debris; sweep entrances and patios; clean ashtrays and outdoor furniture
• Help with light equipment maintenance (e.g., lubricating wheelchairs, shower chairs, carts)
• Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning supplies and materials
• Complete other duties as assigned to support the facility’s cleanliness and safety standards
