Job summary

VIVO Healthcare University in Jacksonville, FL is hiring for a housekeeping attendant to perform daily housekeeping tasks per federal, state, and local standards, ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary facility with an adequate linen supply.

Requirements include reading/writing/speaking English, ability to follow instructions, maintain hygiene and safety, tactful interaction with residents and staff, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. AHCA background screening is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow written and oral instructions concerning mixtures of cleaning compounds, liquids, and cleaning procedures.
• Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
• Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.

The primary purpose of your job is to perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping department in accordance with current federal,state, and local standards,guidelines, and regulations govering our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator and/or director of Housekeeping services to ensure that our facility is maintained in a clean,safe, and sanitary manner and that an adequate supply of linen is on hand at all times to meet the needs of the residents
