Ten Broeck Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing in Lake Katrine, NY is seeking a full‑time Floor Tech. The role supports the housekeeping department, keeping carpet and tile areas clean and well maintained to ensure a safe, sanitary living environment for residents.

Position requires a High School Diploma or GED; prior skilled nursing facility experience is a plus. On-site benefits include health coverage and on-site childcare options, with pay range at $16.00–$16.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining carpet throughout the building with shampooing, spotting, and vacuuming.
• Maintaining all tile surfaces including washing, waxing, buffing, and stripping.
• Performing housekeeping duties as needed.
• Linen distribution at shift end.
• Distributing supplies to housekeepers at end of day.
• Handling trash runs during the day from all locations.
• Other duties as assigned.
