Westwood Village Nursing and Rehab Center in Chicago, IL is seeking a Floor Tech and Maintenance Assistant to help keep resident rooms and common areas clean and comfortable.

You will support the maintenance director, handle moving tasks, assist with trash/recycling, and collaborate with other departments; require 40 hours per week with every other weekend availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• 1 year of experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident room FLoors, hallways, bathrooms, and common areas with a wet Vacuum machine.

Assist manintenance director with some moving and other activitiies. Every other weekend availability required . 40 hrs a week

• Assist with the maintenance of the facility, including taking out the trash and recycling
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and visitors

Requirements

• 1 year of experience preferred, but not required
