Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking a Floor Tech to maintain cleanliness and appearance of floors in a long-term care facility. You will operate floor care equipment, interact with residents, and assist with daily tasks to support a safe, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include floor cleaning, buffing, refinishing, and following infection control policies. If you are reliable, physically capable, and team oriented, apply to join our service-focused team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous floor care experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.

• Operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of floor care activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
