Job summary

AB Facility Services is seeking a reliable Floor Tech for part-time night shifts to maintain a clean, safe environment during off-hours. The role emphasizes independence, strong attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities include floor care (sweeping, mopping, waxing), operating scrubbers and extractors, preparing solutions, and managing supplies. Prior cleaning experience is preferred, with background checks if required.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation.
• High attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety practices.
• Must be able to pass a background check (if required).

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, carpet shampoo, scrub, strip and wax floors.
• Operate floor care equipment such as scrubbers, extractors, and Kaivac systems.
• Safely prepare cleaning solutions per manufacturer instructions.
• Transport and organize cleaning supplies and equipment to work areas.
• Load and unload supplies and return unused materials to storage areas.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned based on needs and skill level.

Position Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Floor Tech to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment during non-operational hours. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work independently, and take pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive floor care services including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, scrubbing, stripping, and waxing.
• Operate professional floor care equipment such as low and high-speed scrubbers, extractors, and Kaivac systems.
• Prepare cleaning solutions by safely mixing water and approved chemicals according to manufacturer specifications.
• Transport, lift, and organize cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials to assigned work areas.
• Load and unload supplies into vehicles and return unused materials to designated storage areas.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies to ensure availability for assigned areas.
• Perform additional duties as assigned based on operational needs and skill level.
