Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Floor Technician to keep commercial and office spaces sparkling. You will perform floor cleaning tasks, operate floor machines, and maintain a clean work area while following safety policies. A professional approach to customer interactions is essential.

The position runs Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with a pay range of $16.50–$17.50 per hour. Prior janitorial and floor-care experience is required, and a valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial industry required, with floor/carpet care preferred.
• Floor care experience with machinery operation required.
• Driver's license is required.

Floor Tech

SBM Management is searching for a Floor Technician that can make the floors sparkle and shine! We are hiring a Floor Technician that has experience ensuring customers have clean and orderly commercial or office space. Professional communication with the customers to make sure their expectations are met is essential.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures. Stop at risk behaviors in others and self
• Work with other employees in a team to complete assignments
• Perform repetitive tasks
• Maintain clean work area
• Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules
• Take direction and respond to supervision
• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner
• Fill in during staff shortages, such as in custodial, recycle, or maintenance
• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items
• Use proper personal protective equipment that is required for assigned tasks
• Present a professional appearance and conduct
• Understand customer service and satisfaction.
• Understand reporting systems, and of the environment
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
• Perform cleaning and maintenance of all floors: tile, carpet, and brick flooring
• Complete work assignments in a timely manner
• Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure
• Use and maintain equipment properly
• Operate and maintain all equipment correctly and safely
• Always observe safety precautions, using safety signs "wet floor"
• Ability to work without normal supervision
• Report safety hazards as appropriate

Qualifications

• Experience in the janitorial industry required, with floor/carpet care expertise preferred .
• Floor Care experience and using machinery Drivers License Required,
• General Knowledge of Care Floor and Scrubbing Techniques

Compensation: $16.50-$17.50 per hour

Shift: Sunday - Thursday 10pm - 6:30am
