Job summary

Indian Beach Nursing and Rehab Center in Sarasota, FL is seeking a dedicated Floor Technician to maintain clean, safe, and attractive flooring for residents and staff. You will dust, mop, buff, and wax floors, clean baseboards, and perform light maintenance while meeting physical demands and working with the team to ensure excellent service and a comfortable environment.

Candidates should pass a Level 2 background check and be ready for the screening requirements; this role offers opportunities

Qualifications

• Must pass Level 2 background fingerprinting with Eligible status.
• Able to meet the physical demands of the job.
• Ability to work independently with occasional supervision.

Responsibilities

• Dust and wet mop floors to maintain a clean and attractive environment.
• Buff, strip, and wax floors to preserve appearance and lifespan.
• Clean baseboards and perform other light maintenance tasks as needed.
• Meet physical demands including stooping, bending, reaching, lifting and kneeling.
• Work independently with occasional supervision to complete tasks efficiently.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with teamwork focus.

Shores Nursing and Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining the attractiveness and cleanliness of our floors, while ensuring the safety and comfort of our residents, staff, and visitors. Floor Tech Responsibilities:

• Dust and wet mop floors to maintain a clean and attractive environment

• Buff, strip, and wax floors to preserve their appearance and extend their lifespan

• Clean baseboards and perform other light maintenance tasks as needed

• Meet the physical demands of the job, including stooping, bending, reaching, lifting, and kneeling

• Work independently, with occasional supervision, to complete tasks efficiently and effectively

• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and customer service
