Job summary

HHS Environmental Services, LLC (USA) seeks a Floor Tech for Bon Secours Perrysburg Hospital. You will join a hospital housekeeping team, performing floor cleaning and maintenance to keep patient areas safe and clean.

The position offers an hourly wage of $17 with full-time hours on the Day/Evening/Night shifts. Must be able to pass background checks and drug screening; strong teamwork and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 17 years or older.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Maintain personal hygiene, be neatly groomed and in uniform.
• Housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, buffing, and bonneting to maintain floors.
• Strip and extract floors as assigned.
• Follow cleaning procedures and best practices.
• Provide friendly, professional service to hospital staff and patients.
• Support teammates and management to keep the department efficient.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, buffing, and bonneting procedures to maintain floors
• Perform floor stripping and extraction projects as assigned
• Follow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices
• Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals in the hospital
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform
• Preferred: Housekeeping experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician, hotel operations, healthcare)

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift.
• Pushing, pulling, and lifting furniture and equipment (25 – 100 lb.) frequently.
• Pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift.
• Must handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectants.
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job.
