Job summary

Outcome HC is seeking a hardworking Floor Technician to join our cleaning team. Training may be provided, and some janitorial experience with knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment is beneficial.

Responsibilities include cleaning offices, hallways, and common areas; moving furniture as needed; scrubbing and waxing floors; measuring and dispensing chemicals; operating dispensing units; labeling chemicals; maintaining PPE and equipment; and reporting issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial work and familiarity with cleaning products, techniques and equipment.
• Knowledge of safe chemical handling and PPE usage preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, hallways, and common areas.
• Move furniture before/after cleaning.
• Clean, dust, mop, strip, and wax floors.
• Measure chemicals correctly.
• Operate chemical dispensing units.
• Label chemicals clearly.
• Maintain and store equipment and PPE properly.
• Keep inventory of floor areas and schedule cleaning/maintenance tasks.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Assist with hazardous waste collection as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Cleaning offices, hallways, common areas, and other areas.




• Moving furniture before and after cleaning.




• Cleaning, dusting, mopping, stripping, and waxing floors.




• Measuring chemicals correctly.




• Operating chemical dispensing units.




• Labeling chemicals correctly.




• Cleaning, maintaining, and storing equipment and PPE proficiently.




• Keeping an inventory of floor areas, and scheduling cleaning and maintenance duties.




• Reporting maintenance issues to supervisor.




• Assisting with the hazardous waste collection as requested by the supervisor.
