Controlled Contamination Services is seeking a Floor Technician to perform advanced floor care including stripping, dressing, buffing and waxing of hard floors, carpet extraction and shampooing, and terrazzo maintenance. You will mix chemicals, operate cleaning equipment, and ensure safe, confidential service in client facilities.

The role requires 1 year of related janitorial experience or a GED, the ability to read instructions, write simple reports, and communicate with customers and team

Utilizing state of the art strategies, processes and human capital, Controlled ensures the highest degree of service and integrity for the sensitive environment we support; impacting those industries that impact the world.POSITION PURPOSE:The Floor Technician’s role is to perform periodic advanced floor care duties to include stripping, dressing, buffing and waxing of hard floors, carpet extraction and shampooing, and terrazzo maintenance, carpet cleaning, pressure washing, special cleanings and other projects as assigned.SHIFT DETAILS:Wednesday- Sunday 9:00 pm- 5:00 amMAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:Vacuum, clean and extract carpeted floor surfaces.Dry and wet mop hard-surface floors.Mixes chemicals needed to perform duties.Performs periodic routine maintenance of equipment required to perform tasks.Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and report any malfunctions or safety hazards to the Supervisor.Spray buff hard surface floors.
