Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) seeks a Floor Tech in Virginia to help maintain clean, safe floors in a long‑term care facility. You will perform floor care tasks, operate equipment, and contribute to a welcoming environment for residents and staff.

The role offers a starting pay of USD 14.00 per hour with benefits such as telemedicine, prescription discounts, and employee assistance programs. A high school diploma is preferred; prior floor care experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous floor care experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care tasks, including cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices.
• Operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of floor care activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required
