Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Floor Tech to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors in a long-term care facility. You will perform floor care tasks, operate equipment safely, and keep records of activities.

Interacting positively with residents, staff, and guests is essential to provide excellent service. The role supports infection control practices and requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous floor care experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds and stand for extended periods, per job demands.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care tasks including cleaning, buffing and refinishing floors.
• Operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of floor care activities and report issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff and guests, delivering quality customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
