Job summary

CareCore at Westmoreland is seeking a dependable Floor Tech to join our Environmental Services team. You will maintain floors across the facility, operate buffers, burnishers, scrubbers, and carpet extractors, and ensure surfaces are clean and safe for residents.

Full-time position with shift 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 5 days per week, including weekends. Every 3rd weekend off. Training provided for the right candidate in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Previous floor care experience preferred; training provided.
• Healthcare/long-term care setting is a plus.
• Must operate floor care equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all hard floors and carpets throughout the facility.
• Operate floor care equipment including buffers, burnishers, scrubbers, and carpet extractors.
• Strip, wax, buff, and polish floors according to facility standards.
• Complete routine and deep cleaning of floors in resident rooms and common areas.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times.
• Assist the housekeeping team as needed to maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Report equipment issues or maintenance concerns promptly.

Schedule

• Full-Time

• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• 5 days per week, including weekends
