• Perform comprehensive floor maintenance (dust/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, bonneting) on hard surfaces and carpeted areas.
• Apply stripper and refinish floors with new wax.
• Complete assigned tasks on schedule with quality results.
• Use and maintain cleaning chemicals and equipment according to procedure.
• Operate and maintain all floor-care equipment safely and correctly.
• Observe wet-floor and other safety precautions; report hazards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

This rapidly growing company seeks enthusiastic and reliable Floor Technician to work in one of our client’s sites. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, able to work independently, yet also be a team player.

Schedule: 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM Monday to Friday

Pay: $20.00/hour

Job tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surface and carpet (dust and wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction & bonneting) of areas that include offices, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells and other public areas.


• Applies stripper to floors (slippery surface) to remove old wax then refinishes floors with new wax product.


• Responsible for satisfactory and timely completion of assigned project area according to schedule.


• Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.


• Use and maintain equipment properly.


• Operate and maintain all equipment correctly and safely


• Observe safety precautions at all times (uses safety signs “wet floor”)


• Reports safety hazards as appropriate


• Perform other duties as assigned
