Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Floor Tech to maintain clean, safe floors in a long‑term care facility. You will perform floor cleaning, buffing, and refinishing, using floor care equipment, and support a sanitary environment.

You will interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, follow infection control policies, and complete routine tasks. A high school diploma is preferred; floor care experience helps but is not required; ability to lift 50 pounds and reside in the

• Operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of floor care activities and report issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous floor care experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required
