Job summary

Ace Hardware in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a Floor Supervisor to lead daily store operations with a customer‑first mindset. The role combines hands‑on supervision, open/close duties, and acting as Manager on Duty when leadership is away, in a friendly, community‑focused neighborhood hardware store.

You will oversee receiving, point‑of‑sale transactions, cash reconciliation, merchandising, safety compliance, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading retail teams with a focus on customer service.
• Strong ability to manage store operations and merchandise flow.
• Flexible schedule with weekend availability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store according to schedule.
• Serve as "Manager on Duty" when management is absent, directing team operations.
• Handle merchandise receiving, cash register transactions, and daily cash reconciliation.
• Resolve or report employee, customer, and product issues promptly.
