Job summary

East Gate Care and Rehab is seeking a Floor Maintenance Worker to keep floors and carpets clean and safe. You will handle mopping, waxing, stripping, and carpet care, while supporting a team-focused environment.

Position includes competitive pay, PTO after 30 days, observed holidays with premium pay, tuition reimbursement up to 5,000 per year, ability to take home up to 75% of net wages, and comprehensive insurance options. Join a supportive team within a larger network of care facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to communicate in English in writing and verbally with staff, families, and customers.
• Able to stand and move, lift up to 50 lbs., and use a computer/phone for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Mop, wax, strip, and buffer floors.
• Shampoo and vacuum carpets.
• Arrange furniture.
• Other duties as assigned.
