Job summary

Floor Coverings International is seeking experienced flooring installers to join our franchise network. We provide weekly work across various homes, focusing on quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 5 years in flooring installation, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50–75 lbs, and willingness to travel throughout the week; you will handle tools, maintain safe work areas, and ensure high standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years of flooring installation experience required.
• Valid driver’s license, functioning vehicle, liability insurance and worker's compensation coverage.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs repeatedly.
• Position travels to various work locations throughout the week.

Responsibilities

• Prep and install flooring according to company procedures with high attention to detail.
• Keep tools organized and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Understand scope of work and familiarize yourself with project file.
• Handle company machinery and power tools properly.
• Perform simple math calculations and understand units of measurement.
• Interact with customers in a friendly and trustworthy manner in the home.
• Ensure high quality company standards and customer satisfaction.
• Travel throughout the week to job sites.

We are looking for go-to hard and soft surface installers that we can provide consistent jobs to on a weekly basis with job sizes ranging from 1 room to entire homes.

Key Responsibilities:

Prep and install the flooring in steps according to company's procedures with high attention to detail and care

Keep tools organized and clean and maintain a safe and clean work environment

Understanding the scope of work of the project before you get there and familiarize yourself with the project file

Responsible to properly handle company machinery and power tools

Knowledge of units of measurement and able to complete simple math calculations

Interact with customers in a friendly and polite manner, must be trustworthy and comfortable in a customer’s home

Ensure high quality company standards are met every time

Work to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with every aspect of the job

Job requires travel throughout the week
