Job summary

Carlson Building Maintenance is seeking a Floor Care Technician to maintain floors across client sites. This role includes stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction and bonneting, along with routine cleaning tasks and quality checks.

Weekend availability and the ability to work night or early morning hours are required. You will operate floor machines, assist with training new hires, and collaborate with team members while representing Carlson in a professional manner on site at client

Qualifications

• Weekend availability required.
• Reliable transportation or access to public transit.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to work night shifts or very early mornings as needed.
• Ability to work with a variety of cleaning products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain floors on hard surfaces and carpet through stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction & bonneting.
• Operate floor machines and perform routine cleaning tasks.
• Debris cleanup and general housekeeping at client sites.
• Vacuuming and restroom cleaning as part of standard duties.
• Quality control checks to ensure high cleaning standards.
• New hire training and collaboration with Carlson team members.
