Job summary

Compass Group USA's TouchPoint Support Services is hiring immediately for a full-time Floor Technician position at Ascension Emerald Coast, 7800 US Highway 98 West, Miramar Beach, FL 32550. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 07:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with a fixed pay rate of $19.00 per hour.

We seek candidates with prior floor care experience; training is provided. The role focuses on floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment while adhering to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous floor care technician experience preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hard-surface floor maintenance including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Perform carpet and upholstery care including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming.
• Perform maintenance and restoration for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
