ABM Industries is seeking a reliable and experienced technician to maintain and upkeep carpet and hard surface floors across client facilities. You will follow established cleaning protocols and safety standards while ensuring spaces are clean, safe, and presentable.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
• Preferred: Customer service experience.
• Preferred: 1 year of similar work experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain buildings/facilities.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Notify managers about repairs or additions to building systems.
• Maintain effective communication with clients and staff.
• Comply with safety, security, and quality standards.
• Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings and walls.
• Move cabinets, boxes, and equipment to access areas.
• Clean interior glass, windows, and mirrors.
• Wash and replace blinds.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Sweep, rake leaves, and seasonal tasks.
• Wipe tables, chairs, and equipment in food areas.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
