Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Floor Technician to safely perform floor care tasks including waxing, stripping, buffing, and general environmental services. The role requires adherence to safety rules and the ability to work with a team to complete tasks efficiently.

Shifts Monday-Friday 5:30 am to 2:00 pm with weekend availability; pay is $17-$18 per hour. SBM offers comprehensive benefit packages and equal opportunity employer statements.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willingness to share with team.
• Knowledge of the upkeep and care of cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Work with other employees in a team to complete assignments.
• Perform repetitive tasks.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules.
• Take direction and respond to supervision.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance of all floors: tile, carpet, and brick flooring.
• Complete work assignments in a timely manner.
