Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Floor Technician for the Capital Health Regional Medical Center. The role is part-time with afternoon/evening shifts and includes delivering high-quality cleaning to maintain a safe, healthy environment.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, carpet care, and occasional training of staff. Candidates should be team-oriented, adaptable, and reliable, with related floor care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment.
• 12 months of related work experience preferred.
• Experience with floor care equipment and all phases of floor and carpet care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, buff, polish, scrub, strip and refinish hard-surface floors using heavy equipment.
• Vacuum, spot clean and extract carpeted floor surfaces.
• May clean furniture and empty trash, linen, and garbage containers.
• May wash walls and maintain baseboards and cove base molding.
• May assist in training other employees.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
