Job summary

Windsor Nursing and Rehab Center of Corpus Christi in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Floors Tech to maintain clean, safe, and comfortable living areas. Responsibilities include following daily cleaning schedules, coordinating with nursing on resident areas, reporting accidents, and keeping equipment and carts clean and stored properly.

Qualifications

• Must maintain cleanliness and sanitation of resident rooms and common areas.
• Ability to follow written and oral cleaning instructions.
• Ability to relate to and work with ill, elderly, and emotionally upset residents.
• Able to push/pull/move up to 25 pounds and lift to 5 feet.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping tasks as assigned.
• Follow and honor cleaning schedules and store supplies properly.
• Report accidents/incidents to supervisor.
• Coordinate daily housekeeping with nursing services when cleaning areas.
• Attend departmental and staff meetings as directed.
• Clean and store equipment and supply carts after use.
• Assist in evacuations during emergencies when required.
