Job summary

Founders Care And Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated housekeeping/maintenance worker to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment within the facility. The role focuses on floor care, cleaning, and routine maintenance to support high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities include following supervision-driven schedules, maintaining restrooms and common areas, and performing floor cleaning, waxing, and minor repairs as needed to sustain a welcoming center.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency preferred.
• One year’s work experience in a commercial establishment with knowledge of laundry/housekeeping procedures.
• Prior Floor Tech experience preferred.
• Pay is based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of general housekeeping/cleaning duties to maintain a sanitary, safe, attractive, and orderly center.
• Follows cleaning schedule and supervisor instructions for offices, restrooms, activity rooms, kitchens, entrances, and other areas.
• Checks and replaces light bulbs, cleans lint from dryers, vents, and registers, and maintains exterior grounds.
• washes, disinfects fixtures, floors, walls, doors, and ceilings as required; polishes fixtures and keeps furnishings orderly.
• Move and clean items, mop and wax floors, and perform stripping/waxing tasks as main duties.
