Job summary

FlagShip Facility Services, Inc. is seeking a Floor Tech to keep facilities clean and well-maintained in a fast-paced setting in Nashville, TN. The role involves scrubbing, waxing, carpet care and general floor maintenance with a focus on safety and reliability.

You will operate floor care equipment, follow maps to locate work areas, and report any issues to the supervisor. A HS diploma or GED and 1–3 years of experience are required, with willingness to participate in periodic safety trainings.

Qualifications

Knowledge of basic floor care duties and responsibilities.
Ability to operate floor care equipment (scrubbers, buffers, shampoo machines, extractors, vacuums).
HS diploma or GED; 1–3 years in commercial facilities/building maintenance.

Responsibilities

Perform floor care tasks: scrubbing, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extracting, and mopping.
Review assignments with supervisor and gather required equipment.
Follow safety rules and wear safety belts; use wet floor signs as required.
Record time worked and products used; inform lead person of completion or issues.
Maintain neat appearance and uniform; attend trainings and safety meetings.
