Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Floor Tech to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors in a long-term care facility. You will perform cleaning, buffing, and refinishing tasks and operate floor care equipment safely.

The role emphasizes infection control, safety, and positive interactions with residents and staff, with hands-on training and opportunities for career development provided by HCSG.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous floor care experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required

Responsibilities

• Clean, buff, and refinish floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices.
• Operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of floor care activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
