Job summary

Lodge Retirement Community, a Caring Place Healthcare Group Facility in Cincinnati, is seeking a Floor Tech to maintain floors across the campus, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing and buffing to keep spaces safe and welcoming.

You will work with a team in a values-driven culture that offers competitive pay and benefits. Requirements include a minimum of a 10th grade education, plus prior floor cleaning experience and being at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum tenth grade education.
• Prior floor cleaning/maintenance experience required.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• General care of all types of floors throughout the facility including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, waxing, stripping and buffing as needed.
• Cleaning and maintenance of floor drains.
• Dispose of trash and hazardous waste according to facility policies and procedures.
• Cleaning and sanitizing of restrooms.
• Ensure all equipment/tools, including cleaning chemicals, are properly stored at all times; restock housekeeping supplies as needed.
• Performs minor maintenance/repair tasks.
• Assist with moving furniture.
