Qualifications

• Experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Must follow safety procedures due to physical risks.
• Requires frequent lifting up to 50 lbs and varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of floor maintenance principles for hard surfaces and uses proper procedures for stripping, refinishing and burnishing.
• Utilizes equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs carpet care including shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning and vacuuming.
• Operates floor care equipment as assigned.
• Performs maintenance and restoration for all floor types.
• Disinfects floor care equipment after each use.
• Adheres to safety precautions and proper mixing of cleaning solutions.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
