Job summary

A healthcare facility located in Rutland, Vermont is seeking a Floor Care Technician to maintain high standards of cleaning and floor care. This per diem position involves performing various cleaning duties, adhering to hospital procedures, and ensuring quality care in a night shift role. Candidates must possess a high school diploma, with preferred experience in environmental services and floor care. Certification for hazardous materials is essential or must be obtained.

Qualifications

• Prior work experience in the environmental services field preferred.
• Prior experience with floor care, finishing and cleaning.
• D.O.T. hazardous material certification or ability to obtain.
• Prior experience with floor care, finishing and cleaning including the use and maintenance of floor maintenance equipment and proper use of cleaning & finishing agents.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned floor care functions based on hospital standards.
• Perform environmental services duties as needed.
• Maintain various types of floor surfaces following hospital procedures.

Moderate knowledge of basic computer skills

Education

Job description

• Per diem (no committed hours and is not benefit el - Night shift - 11:30pm - 8:00am

Performs tasks as a member of a healthcare team while independently providing the highest standards of quality in cleaning and maintaining various types of floor surfaces. The Floor Care Tech performs assigned floor care functions based on hospital standards and procedures; performs environmental services duties as needed; performs other duties as assigned.

§ Requires the ability to read and follow instructions.

§ Prior work experience in the environmental services field preferred.

Required Licenses/Certifications
