Job summary

Complete Care at Glendale West (2) is seeking a Floor Care Technician to maintain hard-surface floors, perform cleaning and restorative tasks, and operate floor care equipment. The role emphasizes safety, punctuality, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a healthcare setting.

The ideal candidate will have prior floor care experience, knowledge of floor care equipment, and the ability to follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to be at work on time and at varying times of day/night.
• Must be able to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision or other employee assistance.
• Must provide a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping, refinishing and burnishing
• Utilizes equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
• Follows proper procedures on carpet including shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc
• Operates floor care equipment as assigned
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Disinfects floor care equipment after each use
• Responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adheres to all safety precautions.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor
