Job summary

Yona Solutions in Michigan is seeking a Floor Care Technician to maintain and restore hard surfaces and carpets across residents\' facilities. You will operate floor care equipment, follow safety procedures, and ensure cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as floor care technician or related role.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping, refinishing and burnishing.
• Utilizes equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
• Follows proper procedures on carpet including shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc
• Operates floor care equipment as assigned
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Disinfects floor care equipment after each use
• Responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adheres to all safety precautions.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor
