Job summary

Sodexo Group is hiring a Floor Technician at UT Health San Antonio Multispecialty & Research Hospital. The role supports a clean, safe, and healthy environment through floor care and related duties. This part-time position requires reliability, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards.

You will operate floor care equipment, assist training, and ensure timely completion of tasks, with a schedule that includes mornings, afternoons, some weekends/holidays. Close interview process.

Qualifications

• 12 months of related work experience preferred.
• Experience with floor care equipment and all phases of floor and carpet care preferred.
• Not Applicable (N/A) for additional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, buff, polish, scrub, strip and refinish hard-surface floors using heavy equipment.
• Vacuum, spot clean and extract carpeted floor surfaces.
• May clean furniture and empty trash, linen, and garbage containers.
• May wash walls and maintain baseboards and cove base molding.
• May assist in training other employees.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift in time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
