Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable technician to maintain carpet and hard surface floors across our facilities. You will follow safety and cleaning procedures, work with cleaning equipment, and communicate with supervisors and clients to ensure a clean, safe environment.

Training is provided on the job, with no high school diploma required. Prior customer service experience is a plus, and 18+ years old applicants are eligible to apply for this entry-level role.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
• Preferred: 1 year of similar work experience.
• Preferred: customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain buildings/facilities.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Notify manager about repairs or additions to building systems.
• Maintain communication with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators and managers.
• Comply with safety, security, compliance and quality standards.
