Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. in Stamford, CT seeks a Floor Tech to maintain clean and presentable floors in a long-term care facility. You will operate floor care equipment, follow infection control policies, and interact professionally with residents, staff, and guests.

Training is provided, and a positive attitude helps deliver exceptional service in a team environment. Starting pay is USD 20.00 per hour with standard benefits; high school diploma preferred and prior floor care experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous floor care experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within service area may be required.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care tasks including cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices.
• Operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of floor care activities and report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
