ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Floor Tech to maintain carpet and hard surface floors across client facilities in Florida. The role involves performing routine cleaning, floor maintenance, and preparation for events as needed, with emphasis on safety and quality cleaning standards.

The position is ideal for someone with at least one year of floor tech experience who is comfortable with various floor systems and responsible for following established schedules and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Floor Tech experience of at least one year is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of floors including vacuuming, mopping, buffing, scrubbing, stripping, waxing, and polishing.
• Use floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, carpet extractors, burnishers, and vacuums to clean and maintain floors.
• Develop and follow floor care schedules for routine and deep cleaning, prioritizing high traffic areas.
• Apply appropriate floor care products and chemicals, ensuring safety and product guidelines.
