Job summary

Paradigm Healthcare is seeking a skilled Floor Tech to help keep our facility in top condition. You will work with industrial and automated floor care equipment, performing hard-surface maintenance and carpet cleaning to maintain a clean, safe environment for residents and staff.

Ideal candidates have prior floor care experience and solid knowledge of safety procedures, with the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and proper procedures (stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, spray buffing).
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Use automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Perform carpet and upholstery cleaning including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
