Sodexo is hiring a Floor Technician at Troy University Montgomery. The position entails delivering high-quality cleaning services to maintain a safe, healthy environment across varying shifts.

You will operate floor care equipment and may train others, with responsibilities including routine floor and carpet maintenance and waste handling. The role requires reliability, teamwork, and adaptability, with benefits and a comprehensive training program provided.

Qualifications

• Team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and focused on a safe working environment.
• 12 months of related work experience preferred.
• Experience with floor care equipment and all phases of floor and carpet care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, buff, polish, scrub, strip and refinish hard-surface floors using heavy equipment.
• Vacuum, spot clean and extract carpeted floor surfaces.
• May clean furniture and empty trash, linen, and garbage containers.
• May wash walls and maintain baseboards and cove base molding.
• May assist in training other employees.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
