Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Floor Tech to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors in a long-term care facility. You will perform floor care tasks, operate floor care equipment safely, and support a positive environment for residents and staff.

You will follow infection control policies, keep records, and report issues to the supervisor. Residency within the service area is required; a benefits package and training are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous floor care experience preferred but not required.
• Must lift/carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine tasks daily.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care tasks, including cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices.
• Operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of floor care activities and report safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
