Job summary

Pacific West Site Services, Inc. is seeking a Floor Care Lead in Hillsboro, OR to coordinate the Floor Care Program, inspect areas and equipment, and ensure sanitation and OSHA compliance. The role emphasizes safe supervision and accurate reporting.

Responsibilities include training staff, monitoring work activities, conducting inspections, maintaining inventories, and producing routine reports. A driver’s license and basic certifications may be required; forklift certs may be preferred.

Qualifications

• No formal education required; 6 months to 1 year experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required; forklift certification may be required.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment and safe chemical handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of employees within the program assigned
• Train and instruct employees in tasks, safety, policies, and procedures
• Coordinate and monitors work activities
• Written reports, such as pass down, weekly, or monthly
• Perform quality, service, and safety inspections
• Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair
• Track supplies inventory and maintained
• Monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment
• Report employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor
• Correct at risk behavior immediately, then report to the supervisor immediately
• Report accidents and incidents to the supervisor immediately
• Maintain records, i.e. training, inspections, attendance and metric data

Job Overview

The Floor Care Lead will be responsible for coordinating activities within the Floor Care Program. The individual will inspect and audit areas, equipment, and working conditions to ensure compliance with sanitation and OSHA regulations.

• Perform duties of employees within the program assigned

• Written reports, such as pass down, weekly, or monthly
• Perform quality, service, and safety inspections
• Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair

• Education and/ or Experience: No education requirement 6 mo-1 year experience preferred: or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: May be required to have a valid driver's license. Completed all safety and task training certification. May be required to be forklift certified
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team
  • Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
  • Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use

$21.85- $22.85 per hour
