Job summary

PrideGlobal and its affiliates are seeking Floor Associates in Orlando to provide an engaging guest experience at a signature retail destination. You will assist guests, manage merchandise, operate POS systems, and help keep the venue clean, safe, and fully operational.

The role requires standing/walking for long periods, lifting up to 40 pounds, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and events. This is a contract position with 4+ months duration.

Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality or entertainment preferred.
  • Willingness to stand/walk for long shifts and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests with a positive attitude and deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Assist guests with product questions, recommendations, purchases and venue information.
  • Operate POS systems and process cash/credit transactions accurately.
  • Restock merchandise, organize displays and maintain visual merchandising standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to leadership.
  • Retrieve merchandise from off-site storage and replenish as needed.
  • Support opening/closing and daily operational procedures, including cash handling and register reconciliation.
  • Assist with special events, promotions, and seasonal activities to enhance guest experience.

Pay Rate: $21.50/hour

A leading entertainment and consumer brand is seeking Floor Associates to join a unique signature retail destination created through the collaboration of two major entertainment brands. This immersive shopping experience combines storytelling, exclusive merchandise, and the excitement of beloved brands to create memorable moments for guests.

As a Floor Associate, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming, engaging, and high-energy guest experience while supporting daily retail and attraction operations. You’ll assist guests, provide product recommendations, operate POS systems, maintain merchandise displays, and help ensure the venue remains clean, organized, safe, and fully operational.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests with a friendly, positive attitude and deliver exceptional customer service throughout their visit.
  • Assist guests with product questions, recommendations, purchases, and general venue information.
  • Accurately operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and process cash and credit transactions.
  • Restock merchandise, organize displays, and maintain established visual merchandising standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to leadership.
  • Retrieve and replenish merchandise from off-site storage locations as needed.
  • Support opening, closing, and daily operational procedures, including cash handling and register reconciliation when assigned.
  • Support special events, promotions, and seasonal activities designed to enhance the guest experience.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or entertainment is preferred but not required.
  • Friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic, and service-oriented personality.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine interest in helping guests.
  • Comfortable handling cash and credit transactions and learning/operating POS systems.
  • Ability to continuously stand and walk throughout shifts.
  • Ability to frequently push/pull and occasionally bend, stoop, crawl, kneel, reach above shoulders, and climb a ladder.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, including fixture parts and cartons of merchandise.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
