Position Overview

Reporting to the Department Lead, the Floor Assistant’s primary goal is to oversee the execution of daily departmental activities and to ensure goals are met. This is a crucial part of the supply chain process and we are looking for someone who is up for the challenge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with lead to determine workload and set deadlines
• Direct the necessary daily activities while ensuring a safe and efficient working environment for all employees.
• Communicate company policy and verify policy is applied
• Create a positive and encouraging team dynamic
• Work side by side with team to ensure completion of daily tasks
• Coordinate and train temporary associates during peak seasons
• Provide status updates and workflow progress throughout the day

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years’ experience as a Floor Assistant for a high-growth company
• A proven ability to execute with consistent delivery
• 6+ months working at Kendra Scott’s Distribution Center or equivalent experience in a similar setting
• Ability to lift 40-60 lbs.
• Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
• A strong ability to build relationship with co-workers and keep others informed
• A growth mindset: desire to learn, grow and embrace new ideas
