Job summary

Modern Animal is building the next generation of general practice veterinary care in Houston, TX. The role offers flexibility with part-time or full-time hours across Rice Village and The Heights, featuring a 4-20 shifts/month schedule and 10-hour shifts.

You’ll work in three workflows—exam, urgent care, and procedures—supported by a high-staff ratio to help refine surgical techniques while maintaining work-life balance. Sign-on bonuses and comprehensive benefits enhance this growing clinic.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited veterinary school or completed requirements to practice in the United States.
• Active license to practice veterinary medicine in Texas required at the start of employment.
• License must be in good standing with no malpractice or disciplinary actions.

Responsibilities

• Provide care through the clinics' three workflows: exam, urgent care, and procedures.
• Work with a 2:1 support staff ratio to focus on refining surgical techniques and complex procedures.
• Deliver high-quality medicine while balancing work-life boundaries in a modern, supportive environment.
