Donaldson Company, Inc. is seeking a Floating Ultra Web Operator for our Frankfort, IN location. This on-site, first-shift role involves assembling filtration products in a team-oriented environment. Hourly rate is $27.44 with eligibility for annual incentive based on performance.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read measurements.
• Ability to use gauges, calipers, indicators, scales, and tape measures.
• Proficient with computers and basic math principles.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lb from floor to waist and up to 60 in at 35 lb; lift up to 50 lb with assistance.
• High school diploma or equivalent plus two years of trade school or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and understand the operations and machines involved with the media process.
• Produce media within approved quality and quantity per prints or route sheets.
• Perform quality checks and tests as assigned.
• Follow first piece and setup sheets; monitor production rates.
• Complete paperwork such as scrap reports, media usage, and oil runs.
• Perform machine changeovers and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Comply with DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
• Use designated PPE as required.

The Floating Ultra Web Operator role at our Frankfort, IN location involves working collaboratively to assemble filtration products in an innovative, team-oriented environment. This is a 1st shift on-site position, with hours from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Role Responsibilities

• Recognize and understand the operations and machines involved with the media process
• Produce media within acceptable quality and quantity standards as stated in the prints and/or route sheets
• Perform quality checks and tests as assigned
• Follow first piece and set-up sheets, Monitoring production rates
• Complete all applicable paperwork - scrap report, media usage sheet, media testing sheet, oil runs, etc.
• Performs machine change over
• Perform preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment
• Comply with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures
• Use all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required

Minimum Qualifications

• Exhibit mechanical aptitude
• Equipment such as gages, calipers, indicators, scales, and tape measures
• Ability to use computer and understand basic math principles
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds from a squat level lift from the floor to the waist, a shoulder level lift to 60 inches at 35 pounds, a horizontal lift and carry for 10 feet, lift up to 50 pounds with the assistance of another employee
• A combination of education and experience, generally acquired through the attainment of a high school diploma, or equivalent plus a minimum of two years of trade school or qualified work experience

Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, including but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, and performance.

This position is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on performance and company growth.
