Job summary

UNC REX Healthcare in Chapel Hill is looking for an experienced Surgical Technologist II to join our Float Pool. The ideal candidate should thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy flexible scheduling, and demonstrate a strong background in various surgical specialties.

This role requires at least 3 years of OR experience and Surgical Tech certification. Candidates will support multiple service lines while ensuring high standards of patient care and surgical safety.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of strong OR experience.
• Surgical Tech certification required.
• Comfort working in a variety of surgical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper technical practices are employed according to accepted standards.
• Maintains sterile field and assures the team adheres to aseptic technique.
• Acts as a role model for new hires and trainees.
