Job summary

Qualifications

• Current California Registered Dental Hygienist license required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a community clinic setting.
• Ability to chart visits comprehensively and complete E&M coding.
• Must possess dental x-ray and coronal polish licenses.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental prophylaxis by cleaning deposits and stains.
• Screen for oral cancer and assess periodontal health.
• Apply fluorides and other preventive agents.
• Prepare operatory and sterilize instruments.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
