Job summary

Providence Swedish First Hill is seeking a Radiation Therapist to deliver prescribed radiation therapy across multiple clinic sites. The role requires traveling between facilities, often performing at more than one clinic in a day.

The successful candidate will have completed an accredited radiation therapy program, hold Washington state licensure and ARRT certification, and may have 2–5+ years of related experience with the Cancer Institute as a Radiation Therapist.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a radiation therapy technology program, accredited by the Joint Review Committee in Radiologic Technology
• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Hired as a new graduate - up to 2 years' experience as a Radiation Therapist AND 3 years of employment at the Cancer Institute, as a Radiation Therapist
• Hired with 2 years - up to 5 years' experience as a Radiation Therapist AND 2 years of employment at the Cancer Institute, as a Radiation Therapist
• Hired with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist AND 1 year of employment at the Cancer Institute, as a Radiation Therapist

Responsibilities

• Travel to multiple clinic sites on a regular basis, sometimes working at more than one clinic per day
• Utilize technical abilities to simulate and/or deliver a course of radiation therapy as prescribed by a radiation oncologist
• Perform work at any Swedish radiation oncology facility on a prescheduled basis or by floating
