Health Center Inc. in New York City is seeking a Physical Therapist to support multiple ambulatory care centers serving union members.

The role offers a stable schedule with no weekends or overnights, and work across Midtown, Harlem, Brooklyn or Queens as needed. The successful candidate will have a NY license, at least 1 year of outpatient orthopedic experience, and strong communication skills to coordinate care with a multi-disciplinary team.

Formación

• Graduate of Physical Therapy Program and NY licensure.
• Currently licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of New York.
• At least 1 year of outpatient orthopedic experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative care team.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct medically prescribed physical therapy programs to restore function, prevent disability following injury, disease, or loss of body part.
• Help patients reach maximum performance level.
• Evaluate patient's level of physical functioning and provide training and/or assistive devices to eliminate or reduce deficits.
• Work with other professional staff to establish rehabilitation and maintenance goals/activities.
• Provide excellent customer service and contribute to team effort.
